1. GSA Mark: Look for the GSA certification mark + “GS 1211:2019” on the label. No mark = no buy.
2. Material: Ask “Is it 100% polyurethane foam?” Polystyrene is BANNED.
3. Smell Test: Strong chemical smell = bad. A good mattress has little to no smell.
4. Price Too Low?: If it’s “memory foam” but super cheap, it’s likely fake.
5. Buy Smart: Purchase from registered shops. If unsure, ask GSA.
