GSA Signs Agreement to Develop Green Hydrogen Code of Practice

The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) signed an agreement with Green Power Brains GmbH (Germany) to support the development of a National Code of Practice for Professional Training in Green Hydrogen Production, Storage and Utilisation in Ghana.

The agreement marks an important milestone in Ghana’s journey towards establishing a robust framework for green hydrogen technologies. Funding for the initiative will be provided through AUDA-NEPAD under the Skills Initiative for Africa (SIFA) project with training to be carried out by the Brew Hammond Energy Centre at KNUST.

The Code of Practice, currently under development, will provide practical guidance to support professional training and serve as a foundation for future national standards in the green hydrogen sector.
