The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) is taking part in the Central Regional Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair, currently being held at Adisadel College Park in Cape Coast.
Known as Central Expo 2026, the event is being held under the theme: “Celebrating Five Years of Advancing Trade, Promoting Tourism and Unlocking Opportunities”.
The seven-day fair seeks to showcase the region’s economic potential while encouraging investment, tourism, and business development.
This year’s edition brings together about 500 vendors to explore business opportunities and is expected to attract over 20,000 patrons from Ghana and across the world.
The GSA is leveraging the platform to engage exhibitors and visitors on the critical role of standards in enhancing product quality, improving competitiveness, and driving sustainable economic growth.
The Authority’s delegation is led by Mrs. Dorothy Amoah, the Head of Marketing, with support from the Central Regional Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Agbah.
The fair was officially opened on Monday by the Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, who represented the President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
She thanked everyone who helped to make the fair a success, and urged Ghanaian businesses to raise their quality and standards to become more competitive in the market.
