The GSA on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, sensitised electrical cable manufacturers and dealers in Kumasi on the new Digital Conformity Mark App.
They were educated on the importance of the new app and the need for them to collaborate with the GSA to ensure that consumers and citizens are able to identify quality and certified cables on the market. The digital conformity mark is a digital app/code that authenticates a product’s compliance with quality and safety standards, providing consumers with a verifiable way to identify genuine goods.
It serves as a tool to fight counterfeits, protect consumers, and ensure a fair market by integrating with digital technologies, often using barcodes to link to a unique digital record of the product’s certification.
The App is called REVEO Scanner.
