The Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Ltd., Salomé Azevedo, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Director-General (DG), Prof. George Agyei, to congratulate him on his appointment as the DG and discuss matters of mutual benefits to both organisations.
Salomé, accompanied by Margaret Mary Tohouenou, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Manager, extended compliments from Nestlé Ghana Ltd. to Prof Agyei, noting that his appointment signifies a renewed commitment to maintaining food standards and safety in Ghana.
She expressed Nestle’s continued commitment to partnering GSA to ensuring that food products manufactured from her outfit meet the standards.
Both leaders agreed to continue to work together to promote standardisation and conformity assessment within the food industry.
