GSA Participates in National Sanitation Day Clean-Up Exercise

The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), on Friday, July 10, 2026, joined the nationwide sanitation exercise by undertaking a clean-up activity at the Authority’s Head Office in Accra.

The exercise was organized in response to the directive by the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, for a two-day national clean-up exercise after the recent flooding incidents in some parts of the country.

Staff from various departments and directorates actively participated in the exercise.

The clean-up covered the entire premises of the Authority, including the frontage, areas outside the perimeter walls, and around the security post.

Staff engaged in sweeping, weeding, desilting gutters, collecting refuse, and clearing overgrown weeds within and around the compound of the Authority.

The Acting head of the administration, Ms. Comfort Hansen noted that GSA takes cleanliness seriously and was glad to be part of the exercise.

She on behalf of management thanked staff for participating and added that they should keep their office surroundings clean to remain healthy and productive.
